3 Days Tanzania Safari – Tanzania Classic Safari

This Tanzania classic safari tour will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife inside a self-contained world teeming with animals. Your tour will also take you to the Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment.

Finally, your African safari tour will also take you to beautiful destinations which features some of the greatest concentration of game in Tanzania which include the Ngorongoro Crater but less crowded and unspoiled possessing a wild beauty. The size of the selected Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Serengeti National Park make them a perfect choice for our shorter safaris.

Itinerary

ARRIVAL DAY

Upon your arrival you will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your arranged hotel in Moshi/Arusha town. You will meet your guide who will brief you on your Safari tour. You will spend the rest of your time at your own leisure and relaxation.

Day 1: Moshi/Arusha

Drive to Serengeti National Park

– Drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area
– Afternoon game drive in the Serengeti, known for its vast plains and abundant wildlife
– Overnight stay in a lodge or camp within the Serengeti

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

– Full day of game drives in the Serengeti
– Witness the Great Migration if visiting during the migration season/doing the game drive.
– Overnight stay in the Serengeti

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

– Morning game drive in the Serengeti
– Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
– Afternoon descent into the crater for a game drive, known for its high density of wildlife
– Overnight stay near the crater rim
– Night stay in Karatu

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park
– Drive to Lake Manyara National Park
– Afternoon game drive, known for its tree-climbing lions and diverse habitats
– View the soda lake
– Visiting the Maasai Boma/Village tour.
– transfer to Moshi/Arusha for your night stay.
– End of our itinerary.

DEPARTURE DAY

The day is left free to wind down after the trek before your flight home. Depending on flight times you could go and explore nearby town and grab some souvenirs before heading to the airport. Moreover you can take your flight back home on the last day of safari if you have evening flight.

Zanzibar trip and other add-ons are available if you wish to continue exploring Tanzania.
